Carved from heart free Ponderosa Pine that was sourced and carved at our previous location in Post Falls, Idaho. Heart free wood avoids the center of the tree where most deeper cracking tends to start. Ponderosa Pine carves clean and does well indoors or in covered outdoor areas. Photo is just for size comparison. It’s really hard and not chewable but he’s already put a dent into it, as you can see. Not sticky, smells right out of the packaging !! We loved that! Its size is about a 20 oz Powerdrink but it’s sturdy and heavy. It’s going to last us such a long time . The only thing is the logo might be worn off sometime soon. Go birds! 🦅
